Job summary

Intervention, Inc. in Brighton, CO is seeking a Criminal Justice Case Manager (Spanish Speaking) to oversee a caseload of probation clients, including non-English speakers. You will apply behavioral change techniques, supervise compliance, and document progress according to policy.

Requires a Bachelor's degree and the ability to communicate in English and Spanish. You may travel to court and jail, testify when needed, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, psychology, social work, counseling or related field.
• Substitution: work experience in counseling, social work, law enforcement, corrections or community supervision may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete, accurate and timely case files (paper and electronic).
• Develop individualized supervision case plans for each client.
• Explain probation conditions and case plans to clients to ensure understanding.
• Meet with clients to evaluate progress and administer rewards/sanctions.
• Monitor drug and alcohol tests as required.
• Travel to jail to meet with clients and provide transportation to court/jail sites.
• Testify in court regarding client compliance.
• Attend required trainings and meetings and maintain regular attendance.
