Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center is hiring Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes across Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. You will implement treatment plans created by a BCBA and help children strengthen communication, social, and daily living skills.

We offer paid RBT and clinical training, supervision, mileage reimbursement, and flexible afternoon/evening hours. If you are reliable, organized, and ready to grow in ABA, we'd love to meet you.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with children is a plus, but not required.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center (ABTC) is hiring compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one support to children and families throughout the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley area.

Whether you're beginning your career, exploring the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or looking for meaningful hands-on experience, we'll provide the paid training, clinical support, and mentorship you need to succeed.

No ABA Experience? No Problem.

We provide comprehensive paid training and ongoing support from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, helping them strengthen communication, social, behavioral, play, self-help, and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills

Schedule & Service Area

We are currently seeking Behavior Technicians who are available to work with clients throughout the Desert/Coachella Valley region, including:

Palm Springs • Palm Desert • Cathedral City • La Quinta • Coachella • Thermal and surrounding communities

Typical Schedule:

• Minimum availability of 15 hours per week
• Monday–Friday afternoon/evening availability
• Availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM
• Sessions are typically 2–5 hours
• Clients are primarily children and adolescents ages 3–17

Because services are provided in clients' homes, applicants should be comfortable traveling within their local service area.

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience working with children is a plus, but not required

• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration
• Willingness to travel up to 25 miles from your home for client sessions
