Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to work with children with autism and developmental disabilities. You will deliver one-on-one ABA therapy, follow BCBA-developed plans, and help build communication, social, and daily living skills in homes or center settings.

Paid RBT and clinical training, mileage reimbursement, and flexible scheduling support growth. Prioritize safety, data collection, and collaboration with clinicians and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Available a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance/registration.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles from home for client sessions.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes and centers.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies.
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress.
• Communicate professionally with families and caregivers.

As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing individualized treatment plans that help build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)—the gold standard in autism therapy.

No ABA experience? We’ll help you get started. Receive paid training and continued support from experienced BCBAs as you develop your skills.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that helps children with autism and other developmental disabilities learn meaningful skills that support greater independence in their everyday lives.

Through personalized, engaging sessions, Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with children to strengthen communication, social, play, coping, and daily living skills. Using positive reinforcement and individualized strategies, they also help children develop safer and more effective ways to navigate challenging behaviors.

What You'll Do

As a Behavior Technician, you will:
