Job summary

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center is seeking a Behavior Technician in San Bernardino, CA to work one-on-one with children using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to build communication, social, and daily living skills. You will receive paid training, clinical support, and mentorship from experienced BCBAs to grow in your role.

Responsibilities include implementing plans, collecting data, collaborating with clinicians, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience working with children is a plus, but not required.
  • Available a minimum of 15 hours per week.
  • Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
  • Willing to travel up to 25 miles from home for client sessions.
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with data collection and behavior intervention techniques.

As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, helping them develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), one of the most effective evidence-based therapies available.

What You'll Do

As a Behavior Technician, you will:
