Job summary

Interstate Batteries in California is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I to accurately complete distribution center tasks using RF barcode scanning, forklifts, and other shipping applications. You will load and unload batteries, cycle through receiving, picking, packing, and shipping roles, while maintaining a safe, clean warehouse environment.

The role requires high school graduate, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.

Qualifications

• High school graduate is required.
• Experience in warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process system and manual transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship)
• Load and unload batteries
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims
• Operate a forklift and maintain a current certification
• Properly tag pallets (for transfer, pick, pack, ship)
• General warehousing duties (restocking shelves and housekeeping)
• Ability to multi-task and transition between tasks
• Other warehouse duties as assigned by warehouse distributor management
