Job summary

Interstate Batteries seeks a Warehouse Team Member I in our distribution center. You will process receiving, transfers, and orders using RF scanning devices and various equipment, load and unload batteries, restock inventory, and maintain a safe warehouse environment.

No prior experience is required, but basic computer skills and a strong attention to detail are essential. The role involves multi-tasking, physical lifting, and occasional overtime as part of a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• No experience required; experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency and being well organized.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process receiving, transfers, picks, packs, and ships.
• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
• Operate forklift and maintain certification.
• Tag pallets for transfer, pick, or ship.
• Perform general warehousing duties and housekeeping.
• Ability to multi-task and transition between tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
