Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Ventura, CA is seeking a Warehouse Team Member I to perform distribution tasks using RF scanners, forklifts and related equipment. You will handle receiving, transfers, picking, packing and shipping with accuracy.

No prior experience required; training provided. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school graduates encouraged to apply.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Experience in warehouse operations is helpful but not required.
• Ability to learn applicable systems and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process receiving, transfer, pick, pack and ship transactions.
• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries and date/rotate items as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Operate a forklift and maintain certification.
• Tag pallets for transfer, pick, pack or ship.
• Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
