Job summary

SmartBank is seeking an entry-level Financial Service Representative for our Franklin, TN office. You will assist clients with banking services, open and maintain accounts, process transactions, and answer questions about products and services.

Work with a Financial Center Manager to deliver exceptional client experiences while promoting SmartBank’s solutions and staying compliant with policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic banking and lending concepts to explain to clients.
• Experience or understanding of investments and ability to refer to investment services.
• Strong customer service skills; ability to build relationships and resolve concerns.
• Familiarity with insurance products and connecting clients with coverage options.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and records.
• Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable with client interactions in person or by phone.
• Ability to learn and use banking software and internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with opening and maintaining accounts and processing transactions.
• Answer questions about products and services and promote SmartBank offerings.
• Provide needs-based financial guidance and refer clients to banking, investment, and insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with branch leadership and team members to ensure a positive client experience and meet branch goals.
