Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming bakery experience.
• Assist customers with products, reach items, carry purchases, and take orders at the bakery counter.
• Review daily orders and monitor product freshness and supply levels.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish baked goods; pull from cooler/freezer for baking prep.
• Maintain sanitation and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Check in product, store properly, and review invoices as needed.
• Operate the department register to process payments where applicable.
• Remove trash and maintain a tidy department.
• Work with teammates to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Adhere to Hy-Vee dress code and all policies.
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects.
