Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join the Firestone Complete Auto Care team in Nashville, TN.

You will diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform routine maintenance, install tires, batteries and shocks, and road test vehicles. We offer full and part-time benefits from day one and opportunities for ASE certifications. Our pay ranges from $12.54 to $18.81 per hour and we provide training, paid vacation, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
  • Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Install and perform tire maintenance.
  • Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
  • Road test vehicles.
