Sun Auto Tire & Service in Chandler, AZ is seeking a General Service Technician to join our fast-growing automotive service network. This entry-level role focuses on oil changes, tire services, basic maintenance, Digital Vehicle Inspections, and customer-ready shop operations.

You’ll learn from experienced technicians and service advisors, with opportunities to advance toward more specialized technician roles as you gain skills and experience.

Formación

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn basic automotive maintenance and repair processes.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety standards, and store processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, service advisors, and store leaders.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsabilidades

• Perform tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance, including fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, and air and cabin filters.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair order documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Identify safety‑related issues and communicate findings through the proper store channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections, where applicable, in an ethical manner and in line with all company and state guidelines under appropriate supervision.
• Keep customer vehicles, the shop, service area, showroom, restrooms, and outside areas clean and customer‑ready.
• Transport customers and pick up parts, tires, and supplies using company or customer vehicles as directed.
• Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, comply with environmental and hazardous waste requirements, and report hazards or unsafe equipment to your supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with technicians and service advisors, accept coaching, and participate in ongoing training and development.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed, and complete other duties as assigned.
