Job summary

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, eager to learn in a structured shop.
• Interest in automotive repair and willingness to learn basic maintenance.
• Able to follow procedures, safety standards, and shop processes.
• Able to work with technicians, service advisors, and store leaders.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass MVR check.
• Able to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repair orders accurately.
• Identify safety issues and communicate findings through proper channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable under supervision.
• Keep shop and customer areas clean and ready for customers.
• Transport customers and parts using company or customer vehicles as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements; report hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with technicians and service advisors; participate in training.
• Maintain flexible schedule including weekends; perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to Sun Auto's core values and policies.
