Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician in Peoria, AZ. This entry-level role supports the shop by performing essential vehicle maintenance, inspections, and keeping the area clean while learning foundational skills to grow in the automotive industry.

You will handle oil changes, tire services, basic maintenance, and Digital Vehicle Inspections while learning from experienced technicians, service advisors, and store leaders—building a foundation for a long-term automotive

Qualifications

• The right candidate is reliable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, willing to learn.
• Strong interest in automotive repair and ability to follow procedures.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance including fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair order documentation accurately.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through proper channels.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE; assist with shop cleanliness and organization.
• Work with technicians and service advisors and participate in ongoing training.
