Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a General Service Technician to support the shop by performing essential vehicle maintenance services, oil changes, tire services, and inspections while learning from experienced technicians and store leaders.

You will complete Digital Vehicle Inspections, follow safety procedures, and contribute to a clean, customer-ready shop. The role offers paid training, benefits, and clear pathways for career advancement.

Qualifications

Strong interest or desire to work in the automotive repair industry.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn basic automotive maintenance and repair processes.
Ability to follow written procedures, safety standards, and store processes.

Responsibilities

Perform tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
Perform oil changes and basic maintenance, including fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, and air and cabin filters.
Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair order documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through the proper store channels.
Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections, where applicable, under supervision and in line with guidelines.
Keep customer vehicles and shop areas clean and customer-ready.
