Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a General Service Technician to perform oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance in a fast-paced shop. You will complete Digital Vehicle Inspections, document repair orders, and learn from experienced technicians while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role suitable for mechanically inclined individuals.
• Must be 18+ years of age and able to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance, including fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, and air and cabin filters.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair order documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through the proper store channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections, where applicable, in line with company/state guidelines under supervision.
• Keep vehicles, shop, showroom, and areas clean and customer-ready.
• Transport customers and pick up parts, tires, and supplies as directed.
• Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and report hazards to supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with technicians and service advisors, accept coaching, and participate in training.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed; adhere to policies.
