Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting Firestone Complete Auto Care locations. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, perform maintenance, tire services and electrical checks as part of a hands-on shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.

Skills

Basic mechanical tasks
