Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join its Firestone Complete Auto Care team. You will be part of a fantastic group servicing vehicles, with full and part-time benefits from day one, including a tool program discounts.

Learn to diagnose basic automotive systems, perform oil changes and maintenance, install tires and batteries, and road test vehicles. A valid driver’s license is required, and prior automotive service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
