Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Firestone Complete Auto Care in Memphis, TN. This entry-level role is part of a collaborative team servicing vehicles, with full- and part-time benefits available from day one and a pay range of $12.54 to $18.81 per hour.

You will diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes and tire maintenance, and drive customer and company vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
