The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience at one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers. Training will cover basic automotive services, tire mounting and balancing, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry.
Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Learn basic automotive services like mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and other preventative maintenance.
Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional services.
Demonstrate excellent guest service, including clear communication about guest vehicles.
Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
