Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Littleton, CO is seeking an entry-level Automotive Technician. You’ll perform inspections, maintenance, and basic-to-intermediate repairs while building diagnostic skills alongside experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of automotive experience or equivalent training for maintenance and basic repairs.
• Ability to follow written procedures, torque specs, and safety standards.
• Willingness to ask for help, accept coaching, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Proficiency with VEI/Multi-Point Inspection tools, scan tools, and documentation systems.
• Ability to possess and use basic tools required for the role.
• Valid driver’s license and successful MVR check.
• State Inspector License where applicable or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Flexibility to work weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform Multi-Point and Digital Vehicle Inspections and document findings per standards.
• Carry out maintenance and entry-level repairs (oil, filters, tires, brakes, etc.).
• Handle tire mounting/dismounting, balancing, rotations, and related wear-item replacements.
• Perform basic diagnostics with guidance and escalate complex issues.
• Follow repair procedures, torque specs, and post-repair checks.
