Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Castle Rock, CO is hiring a General Service Technician. This entry-level role supports the store by performing vehicle maintenance, oil changes, tire services, and Digital Vehicle Inspections while learning from experienced techs and store leaders.

Qualifications

• The right candidate is reliable, safety-focused and mechanically inclined.
• Willingness to learn basic automotive maintenance and repair processes.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety standards, and store processes.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repairs.
• Identify safety-related issues and report findings through proper channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable.
• Keep shop and customer areas clean and ready.
• Transport customers and parts using company vehicles as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE; report hazards.
• Collaborate with technicians and service advisors; participate in training.
• Work flexible schedule, including weekends; perform other duties.
