Job summary

Goodyear offers an entry level Automotive Technician position in its Auto Service centers nationwide, with training provided and no prior experience required. We provide a fast paced environment, competitive base pay, and comprehensive benefits including medical plans, 401(k), and vacation time.

You will learn to perform basic automotive services such as tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, and preventive maintenance while delivering outstanding service to guests.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal automotive training.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, oil changes, and filter replacements.
• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional automotive services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks requiring lifting and standing for extended periods.
