Team Car Care East, LLC (US) is hiring a General Service Technician in Rocky Point, NY. This entry-level role includes a structured training program to certify you in our services and deliver top-notch guest experiences.

You’ll support technicians, communicate clearly with guests, and help maintain a clean, safe service center while growing your automotive skills. The position offers biweekly bonuses, benefits, and opportunities for advancement in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience (i.e. retail, food service, hospitality, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; independently motivated, dependable, and a team player
• Demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures, identify problems, and make sound decisions
• Physically able to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual tasks including bending and squatting
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures, loud environments, and around exhaust fumes
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
• Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Service guests' vehicles with quality workmanship
• Provide clear communication to guests about vehicle service
• Maintain a clean and presentable service center
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior technicians
• Check oil levels and communicate with teammates
• Ensure tire pressure and proper inflation
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
• Complete vehicle inspections and document all work
• Report safety issues immediately to management
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Perform miscellaneous manual tasks including lifting and long periods of standing
