Job summary

Lute Riley Honda is seeking an Apprentice Service Technician in Richardson, TX. This entry level role requires graduation from an automotive technician training program and will involve repair and maintenance tasks under a mentor.

The apprentice will perform work as directed, diagnose issues, and participate in factory training, with opportunities for growth within the dealership network.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an automotive technician training school.
• Apprentice is assigned a Mentor to assist and share knowledge.
• Duties include performing vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on a repair order.

Responsibilities

• Assigned a Mentor (usually Master Technician) to assist in acclimating to dealership operations.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order.
• Diagnose cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Call mentor, team leader, or shop foreman when needing assistance.
• Examine vehicle to determine if additional service work is recommended.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Other duties as assigned.
