Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for Firestone Complete Auto Care.

You will learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes, tire maintenance, install batteries and shock absorbers, and road-test vehicles as part of a collaborative service team. Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
