Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for Firestone Complete Auto Care. This role involves diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems, performing scheduled maintenance, installing tires and batteries, and road testing vehicles.

Full-time and part-time benefits start from day one. Pay range is $15.18 - $22.77 per hour, with opportunities for growth and ASE certifications through on-the-job training. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
