Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Maintenance Technician in Highland, NY. This entry-level role will be part of a team servicing vehicles at a Firestone Complete Auto Care location.

The position supports full- and part-time schedules with benefits starting from day one, including tool program discounts and paid time off. You will learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes, tire maintenance, and battery/shock installations, and you may

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust and electrical.
• Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries and shock absorbers and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
