Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an entry level Maintenance Technician to join Firestone Complete Auto Care. You will be part of a team servicing vehicles, with full and part-time benefits available from day one, including a tool program discount.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems, changing oil, tire maintenance, and road testing vehicles. We provide training and opportunities for ASE certifications; a valid driver’s license is required to drive

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
  • Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Install and perform tire maintenance.
  • Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
  • Road test vehicles.
