Job summary

ABA Support Services in the United States is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist to organize data collection and support clinical activities across programs.

You will assist with behavioral assessments, program implementation, and staff/parent training, stepping in as lead therapist during temporary absences, and maintaining client data and materials across sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinic, home, or school programs is desirable.
• Experience providing behavioral services to children with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Willing to learn early learning curriculum and behavioral principles.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist in maintaining up-to-date graphs and data summaries.
• Write progress notes and program updates; create session materials and stimuli.
• Support implementation of baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
• Prepare and tidy session areas and equipment.
• Shadow/co-treat/treat 2–4 hours per week; report concerns to lead therapist.
• Report suspected child abuse within 24 hours to child line.
