The position involves collecting data, supporting lead therapists, writing progress notes, and delivering client care in various settings, including home, school and community environments. Requirements include at least a High School Diploma (60 college credits and advanced degrees desirable), experience with autism, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work both

Qualifications

• Experience providing behavioral services to children with autism.
• 1 year clinical/home/school direct services to children with autism, training parents, supervising staff.
• Willing to learn early learning curriculum and apply behavioral principles to increase functional repertoires.
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Therapists should work with children across ASD functioning levels and implement programs in home, school and community environments.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist with graphs, summaries, and data calculations.
• Write progress notes, program updates and create session materials.
• Implement baseline, treatment, parent training and generalization sessions.
• Prepare and clean up session activities and equipment.
• Report parent concerns to the lead therapist.
• Provide direct client care following prescribed behavioral protocols.
• Shadow/assist with at least 2–4 contact hours per week.
• Oversee case related duties and staff/parent training.
