Job summary

KIMCHUK INC is seeking an entry-level Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Operator to ensure quality in PCB assembly. You will operate the AOI machine, review defects for accuracy, and support production.

On-site in Danbury, CT, this full-time role includes training in IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001, with benefits and opportunities for growth. Salary ranges based on experience and standard shift.

Qualifications

• Technical High School or Associate degree in Electronics would be a plus.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Experience in production of and/or inspection of PCBs is a plus.
• Ability to read process sheets, drawings and understand part identification.

Responsibilities

• Review AOI inspection for accurate SMT paste, placement and solder defects.
• Load AOI programs per documentation.
• Visually inspect PC boards to confirm acceptable soldering.
• Identify misplacements and solder defects per IPC-A-610 standards.
• Communicate problems to machine operator for corrective action.
• Enter transactions into computer and maintain logs.
