Job summary

LSI ADL is seeking an energetic Machine Operator to join our Surface Mount team. You will operate and maintain an Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine to perform quality inspections of assembled PCBs, following IPC standards and customer documentation.

Typical responsibilities include documenting and logging serial numbers, tagging failed assemblies for repair, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with PCB assembly or AOI inspection preferred.
• Ability to follow IPC standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operation of surface mount machine for inspection of printed circuit boards using IPC standards and customer documentation to assure quality standards and meet customer demands.
• Verify accuracy of documentation per work orders, machine programming, and customer specifications.
• Document and log serial numbers and pass/fail assemblies.
• Tag failed assemblies for repair.
• Complete tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment and follow prescribed regulations.
• Represent LSI Industries in the most positive manner with prospective, current and former employees, clients, suppliers, and the community we serve.
• Interact professionally and effectively with a diverse group of employees and customers.
• Learn and practice standard operating procedures.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance based on the work hours established by management.
• Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
• Other duties as assigned.
