Job summary

Gorilla Circuits is seeking an AOI Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain Automated Optical Inspection equipment for PCB manufacturing. You will verify lot quality, load boards, adjust inspection programs, and document results to ensure adherence to customer specs and IPC standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience in electronics manufacturing or quality inspection. This role requires attention to detail, ability to read drawings, and careful handling of fragile

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in PCB/electronics manufacturing and ISO environment preferred.
• Experience operating AOI equipment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and travelers.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor AOI equipment to inspect PCBs.
• Perform inspections per customer specs and quality standards.
• Identify and verify defects such as opens, shorts, or trace defects.
• Review results and distinguish true defects from false calls.
• Load/unload boards and ensure proper handling.
• Document inspection results and production data.
• Segregate nonconforming products per procedures.
• Follow IPC standards and safety policies.
