Job summary

KIMCHUK INC in Connecticut is seeking an AOI Technician to program and troubleshoot AOI systems for PCB assemblies. The role focuses on ensuring accurate automated optical inspection and reliable soldering quality, with opportunities to contribute to process improvement.

Qualifications

• Technical school or Associate’s degree in electronics or experience in production of printed circuit boards preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to read and interpret a part number.

Responsibilities

• Create and troubleshoot programs for the AOI
• Organize workflow through the process
• Alert production operations of any ongoing defects in products
• Visual inspection of PC boards to confirm acceptable soldering
• Setup and run placement machines as required
• Work within other areas of department when needed
