Job summary

Daifuku is seeking a maintenance technician to support the Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges at an airport site in San Antonio. You will assist with preventive and corrective maintenance, read manuals, and follow safety procedures to keep systems running efficiently.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of mechanical experience, and preferably airport/Conveyor or PBB experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year mechanical experience.
1 year BHS or PBB experience or pass mechanical aptitude test.
Ability to work non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
Preferred: experience in an airport environment.
Preferred: experience on conveyors and/or passenger boarding bridges.

Responsibilities

Assist with preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, addressing jams and inspections.
Diagnose equipment failures under supervision; ensure equipment runs safely.
Read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and supervisor instructions.
Use PPE and fall protection; maintain safety compliance.
Complete safety training and company procedures; fill work forms per procedures.
Support technicians with basic maintenance tasks and cleaning.
Be available for non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays.
