Job summary

Daifuku North America seeks a maintenance technician to assist with the upkeep of Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges at airports. You will support technicians, perform basic diagnostics, read manuals, and participate in safety trainings to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications include 1 year of mechanical experience, BHS/PBB exposure or aptitude testing, and willingness to work non-traditional hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience.
• 1 year BHS or PBB experience or pass mechanical aptitude test.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: airport environment experience.
• Preferred: conveyors or passenger boarding bridges experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive, routine and emergency maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and/or Passenger Boarding Bridges.
• May diagnose equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel; ensure equipment is running safely.
• Read and interpret repair manuals, basic schematics and supervisor instructions.
• Perform safety training and comply with all policies and procedures.
