Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking a maintenance technician to support Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges. The role involves assisting with preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, clearing jams, and performing inspections under supervision.

The candidate should have a high school credential and at least 1 year of mechanical experience or related BHS/PBB exposure; willingness to work non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays, with mandatory safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience or 1 year BHS or PBB experience, or be able to pass a mechanical aptitude test.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic maintenance assignments including preventive, routine and emergency maintenance and clearing system jams.
• May diagnose equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel; ensure equipment runs safely.
• Read and interpret repair manuals, basic schematics and supervisor instructions.
• Work in tight/high spaces using PPE and fall protection.
