Job summary

Daifuku is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges. You will mentor junior staff, read repair manuals, and follow safety procedures in an airport setting.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of mechanical or electrical experience, able to work non-traditional schedules, and able to read blueprints and schematics. Training and PPE are provided to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of previous mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.
• Must be able to work non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Completes basic maintenance assignments involving preventive, routine and emergency maintenance; clear system jams and perform inspections.
• Diagnoses equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel and ensures safe operation.
• Provides direction and mentoring to maintenance assistants; may lead in absence of Sr. Technicians.
• Reads and interprets repair manuals, basic schematics and supervisor instructions.
• Performs safety training and uses PPE and fall protection as required.
• Supports with basic maintenance such as sweeping, cleaning and greasing.
• Complies with company safety policies and completes training as assigned.
