Daifuku North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled upkeep on Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges. The role includes mentoring junior staff in maintenance tasks and sometimes acting as lead in the absence of senior techs.

Responsibilities cover preventive and emergency maintenance, reading manuals and schematics, and ensuring safe operation under supervisor guidance. Strong electrical/mechanical background required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: airport environment, conveyors/pbbb, blueprints/schematics, HVAC, welding/brazing.

Responsabilités

• Completes basic maintenance assignments including preventive, routine and emergency tasks; clears system jams and performs inspections.
• Diagnoses equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel and ensures safe operation.
• Takes direction from senior personnel and may mentor other staff in maintenance tasks.
• Reads repair manuals and schematics; follows safety and company procedures.
• May act as lead in absence of Sr. Technicians or supervisors.
