Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an entry-level AI Engineer in Greenville, SC to design, build and operate AI-enabled applications for engineering and industrial use cases. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers and domain experts to turn prototypes into maintainable solutions.

You will translate prototypes into modular software, implement testing and monitoring, and work across cloud, container, and orchestration patterns. A strong foundation in Python and ML is expected.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science or STEM.
• 0-1 year of related experience in STEM.
• Programming in Python and familiarity with at least one additional language.
• Foundational understanding of machine learning, data structures, APIs and software testing.
• Experience using Git and building a software or AI project through coursework or internships.

Responsibilities

• Build and test AI-enabled applications, APIs, model services and automation workflows.
• Integrate ML or generative-AI with data sources and enterprise platforms.
• Translate prototypes into modular, readable software components.
• Implement evaluation, logging, monitoring and feedback for quality.
• Use Git, automated testing and CI/CD to support maintainable delivery.
• Package and deploy workloads using cloud, container and orchestration patterns.
