Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an entry-level AI Engineer to design, build, test and operate AI-enabled applications for engineering and industrial use cases. You will work across software, ML and data interfaces, collaborating with Data Scientists, engineers and domain experts to turn prototypes into maintainable solutions.

This role is designed for a recent graduate who enjoys building working systems, learning new technologies and turning prototypes into maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one additional language.
• Foundational ML concepts and software testing.
• Experience using Git and building software/AI projects.
• Ability to diagnose problems and communicate tradeoffs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build and test AI-enabled applications, APIs and model services.
• Integrate ML capabilities with data sources and tools.
• Translate prototypes into modular, readable software components.
• Implement evaluation, logging, monitoring and testing for reliability.
