Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field relevant to data science.
• 0-1 year of STEM experience.
• Foundational knowledge of statistics and machine-learning concepts.
• Hands-on Python or R through coursework or projects.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
• Ability to explain technical work to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate business questions into analytical problems with clear success criteria.
• Clean, join, and validate structured and unstructured data; document data quality.
• Build baseline and advanced models using statistics, ML, optimization, or time-series.
• Compare models with relevant metrics and assess uncertainty and robustness.
• Create visualizations, notebooks, and concise presentations of findings.
• Collaborate with data and AI engineers to move analyses toward production.
• Use version control, testing, and reproducible workflows.
• Protect confidential information and follow governance and Responsible AI.
• Develop domain knowledge in energy and industrial systems through hands-on work.
