GE Vernova, Inc. is offering a co-op/internship within the Systems Architecture team to contribute to applying Generative AI in product management and automation initiatives.

You will work with engineering, services, and digital technology teams to prototype AI-driven solutions and support their deployment on-site in the United States. Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science Engineering.
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing AI-driven tools to improve and augment key business functions in engineering and product management.
• Engage with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Services, manufacturing and digital technology, to integrate new methodologies.
• Support the training and adoption of Generative AI tools within the organization.
• Technical Research & Prototyping: Assist the engineering team in subcomponent selection, hardware research, and lab-based prototype demonstrations to validate automation initiatives.
• Data Gathering & Computer Vision: Drive collection of visual data from site visits.
• Documentation & Operational Enablement: Help bridge the gap between development and field operations by assisting in the creation of training materials, and documentation required for handover to the services teams.
• Work with the services team to drive productivity initiatives for planned inspections and upgrades.
