GE Vernova, Inc. seeks an entry-level AI Engineer to design, build, integrate and operate AI-enabled applications for engineering and industrial use cases.

You will work across software, machine learning and data interfaces, partnering with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, software teams and domain experts. This role is for a recent graduate who enjoys building working systems and turning prototypes into maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or STEM fields.
• 0-1 year of related STEM experience.
• Python programming and at least one other language.
• Foundational ML knowledge, data structures, algorithms, APIs and testing.
• Experience with Git and building AI or software projects.
• Ability to learn new tools and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
• Strong teamwork and care for quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and test AI-enabled applications, APIs, model services, automation workflows and user-facing tools.
• Integrate ML or generative-AI with data sources, tools and platforms.
• Translate prototypes into modular, readable software components.
• Implement evaluation, logging, monitoring and feedback mechanisms.
• Use Git, code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD for maintainable delivery.
• Package and deploy workloads using cloud, containers and orchestration patterns.
