Job summary

Aerospace Dynamics International, Inc. (ADI) is seeking an entry-level shipping/receiving clerk to support basic logistics operations at our Valencia, CA campus. You will load/unload trucks, verify packing slips, and package materials for shipment under supervision.

No experience required, forklift certification preferred, and a forklift-ready candidate will perform clerical duties and basic recordkeeping with MS Word/Outlook. This is an on-site, entry-level role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Must follow directions and perform basic shipping/receiving tasks.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word and MS Outlook).
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Position requires the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, carry up to 20 ft and load parts in fixtures weighing up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Must maintain clean and orderly work area while following safety instructions.
• Must maintain good attendance according to shift-times or pre-arranged work schedule
• Load and unload delivery trucks and examining shipments for defects or shortages according to packing slips
• Following instructions to properly package materials for shipping
• Perform basic packaging skills to ensure that parts are not damaged in transit.
