Job summary

FDH Aero in Commerce, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to support shipping, receiving and inventory control as a full-time employee. You will handle packing, labeling and cycle counts while ensuring accuracy and safety in daily operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work with computer systems for data entry and inventory records. This role requires US ITAR compliance status and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years experience.
• US Person status as defined by ITAR Regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify aircraft parts and receive them into computer software applications.
• Load/unload inventory onto shipping containers and flatbed trucks.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be pulled from inventory.
• Package parts to ship to customers using specific packaging methods to ensure that the parts are fully protected and compliant to customer specifications.
• Maintain inventory controls by documenting part traceability and storing pictures using the company’s network drive and applications.
• Pull parts from specific locations within the warehouse and stage them in areas for preparation of shipments.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
• Validate and record amounts of materials or items received, distributed or cycle counted via appropriate computer program.
• Weigh, count and inspect items to ensure conformance to established standards.
• Assist in counting, tarping and movement of physical inventory.
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
