Job summary

Poly6 Technologies, Inc. in Burlington, VT seeks a Production Technician to support daily manufacturing operations focusing on safety, product quality, throughput, and workplace organization.

This hands-on role follows established processes and participates in continuous improvement to meet daily and weekly targets. You will operate and maintain AM machines, update inventories, perform post-processing, inspect parts, follow SOPs, and document data in ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• Must understand safety and quality procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and SOPs.
• Experience following work instructions and safety data sheets (SDS).
• Familiarity with basic math for measurements and unit conversions.
• Exposure to manufacturing equipment and lab instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain additive manufacturing machines, including setup and calibration.
• Update and manage chemical inventories to align with production schedules.
• Perform post-processing such as support removal, finishing, and heat treatment.
• Interpret CAD models and build files to ensure correct production.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision tools and standards.
• Follow SOPs, 6S workplace practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Document production data and machine logs in ERP/MES systems.
• Monitor machine performance and perform preventive maintenance.
• Assist in material movement and other duties to support efficiency.
• Communicate with production leadership to resolve issues and optimize processes.
