Job summary

Pacific Office Automation in Beaverton, OR is seeking an entry-level Accounting Assistant to support a variety of accounting functions, with a primary focus on accounts payable and bank statement oversight. Compensation: $19/hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent accounting experience considered.
• 0–3 years of accounting experience or other relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
• Process payments to multiple vendors in a timely manner
• Communicate and collaborate with internal departments and external vendors
• Research, identify, and resolve discrepancies
• Verify accounting entries and reconcile balances to reports
• Prepare and issue payments by check or wire transfer
• Assist with additional accounting tasks and projects as needed
