Job summary

Highspring LLC (d/b/a Vaco by Highspring) is seeking an Entry-Level Accounting Associate to join their Irvine team. This role offers hands-on accounting experience and a chance to grow in a collaborative, supportive environment.

You will assist with AP/AR, process invoices, data entry, month-end close support, and prepare reports in Excel, while maintaining accurate records and communicating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel and computer skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Internship or previous office/accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and payments.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
• Prepare spreadsheets and financial reports using Excel.
• Assist with filing, documentation, and audit preparation.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoices and payments.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
