Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0-2 years of accounting or finance experience (internship experience considered).
• Comfortable with frequent outreach to clients and troubleshooting client issues/requests
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Comfortable working with large volumes of data and ambiguity
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Prior exposure to AR, reconciliations, or ERP systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts receivable reconciliation and cleanup across multiple systems
• Support aging analysis and identify discrepancies across customer accounts
• Perform data scrubbing and validation to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Assist with cash application and payment posting as needed
• Collaborate with team members to research and resolve outstanding/aged AR items
• Support month-end close activities including reconciliations and reporting
• Maintain organized documentation and tracking of cleanup progress
• Perform other accounting support duties as assigned

Company Overview: Our client is a growing business services organization seeking support for an active AR cleanup project.
Position Overview: We are seeking an Entry Level Accounting Professional to join a team supporting an accounts receivable cleanup project. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain hand-on experience with the AR process, exposure to a large, complex environment, and strong potential to convert to a permanent role.
